From Traditional Portraiture to Techno - Mythological Art
I began my career as a portrait painter, working within the traditions of figurative realism and commissioned portraiture. Over time, my interest shifted from representing individuals to exploring the wider cultural and technological forces shaping contemporary life.
This transition led to the development of my techno-mythological practice. Through large-scale symbolic paintings and triptychs, I examine the relationship between mythology, technology, culture, and human identity.
Drawing on classical painting techniques, sacred geometry, and contemporary symbolism, these works function as contemporary altars that explore how emerging technologies are transforming human experience.
With the exception of earlier portrait works, all paintings possess a high-gloss surface designed to enhance their reflective and interactive qualities.
All works are entirely hand-painted without the use of digital technology.

In classical metaphysics, form dictates what a physical object is. In modern digital physics and quantum mechanics, reality is increasingly theorised as being composed of information. Space, time, and matter might emerge from the entanglement and processing .The source …..a prime mover in this modern twist is the foundational ,computational ,or mathematical algorithm that strings the universe's data together.

This was an idea to present portraiture in a different way. I was interested in portraying the sitter based purely on the place, date and time of birth. I wanted to remove any sense of personality and focus on a specific area of the birth chart using colours and symbols related to astrology. I call them ‘Celestial’ portraits.

Reimagines portraiture through the lens of astrology. Created using only the sitter's place, date, and time of birth, these works replace conventional representations of personality with colours, symbols, and geometric forms derived from the natal chart. The series explores identity as a symbolic and celestial construct rather than a purely personal one.

A reinterpretation of the Vitruvian figure positioned within a symbolic geometric framework. Exploring transformation, human potential, and the relationship between the individual and wider cultural systems, the work uses reflective surfaces and symmetry to actively engage the viewer.

Inspired by the torus, a geometric form found throughout nature, the painting explores interconnected systems, reflection, and perception. The high-gloss surface incorporates the viewer into the composition, creating a continuous dialogue between the artwork, its environment, and the observer.

Synthetic God is the first work in an ongoing series of techno-mythological paintings examining the collision between spiritual archetypes and synthetic systems of power.
The central figure references Ahriman, the destructive force within Zoroastrian cosmology, reinterpreted here through the lens of artificial intelligence and contemporary technological culture. Circuit-like structures and fractured symbolic systems frame the figure within a contemporary cosmology where technological mediation increasingly replaces direct human experience.
The work explores themes of synthetic consciousness, mediated reality, and the transformation of spiritual structures within technologically governed societies.

Archeia functions as a counterpoint to Synthetic God. The work explores the feminine archetype as both regenerative and destructive force — a system capable of dismantling obsolete structures while restoring equilibrium.
Flanked by geometric forms derived from Metatron’s Cube, the central figure acts as conduit between material and symbolic realms. The work examines balance, transformation, and the tension between technological systems and organic consciousness.
